Gatorade is the latest company to sever its ties with golfer/videogame icon/sex addict Tiger Woods. According to ESPN, a Gatorade spokesperson said:

We no longer see a role for Tiger in our marketing efforts and have ended our relationship. We wish him all the best.

AT&T and Accenture have already ended their respective relationships with Woods. Electronic Arts and Nike have indicated that they’re supporting the troubled sex addict.

Any guesses on the next sponsor that will bail on Woods? Could you picture any other athlete on EA’s golf game?

@Iceman I don't think she's that pretty, even if you had the bonus points she gets for being an athlete. She's not "athlete hot".

Smartguy says:

Sad world we live in. Can't stand the PC crap and the holier than thou attitudes. This guy hit some fine tail like every other athlete. Comes with the territory.

Redd75 says:

Smartguy- say it ain't so? Don't tell me you actually feel for this guy? Woods was already married to some 'fine tail', but apparently thought he deserved more. I don't know about you, but I've never had people busting down my door begging me to take their millions for sponsorship deals, nor does my wife have supermodel status. He had both and more, and got greedy, and is rightly paying for it.

@Redd75 Not at all. I'm saying that people shouldn't fault his sponsors for wanting to ditch him.

Iceman says:

Michelle Wie.

In a bikini, perhaps?

@Smartguy Can you really blame the sponsors for dropping him though? There are many consumers that will rail on a company that continues to use Woods as a spokesman. If anything, I blame that small but vocal group of consumers.

Smartguy says:

@Redd75

Stating the hypocrisy here. Michael Jordan endorsed everything on the planet and he got around. Magic Johnson got aids from it. Joe Montana left a wife. They all do it. Expecting otherwise is foolhardy.

Redd75 says:

@Smartguy- I gotcha. With your first sentence (Sad world we live in), I thought you might be saying that it's sad that Woods is being punished in a business sense for what he did in his personal life.

Smartguy says:

@Redd

cheating on your old lady is bad. No pass on that.

Redd75 says:

Please tell me you guys caught the Tiger Woods joke on SNL Sat. night. I was laughing pretty hard!
